Our piglets are weaned, hot wire trained, and ready to go. They were born in February 2026. The price is $175 is for unregistered piglets but we have a few promising piglets that could be registered IPPs starting at $450. We currently have 18 available (females and males). Deep Country Farm (DCF) raises Idaho Pasture Pigs (IPP) for sale for both breeders and consumers. Idaho Pasture Pigs (IPP) are a medium sized breed of pig with sows maturing to 250 - 350 lbs and boars maturing to 350 to 450 lbs. The breed began being developed in 2006 with ongoing selection to breed to the ideal standards. Idaho Pasture Pigs are raised and bred to graze instead of root. The colors ranges from black/white, ginger/black, brown/white, cream, ginger, ginger/cream, tri-colored, or solid black.
The IPPs are grass fed on our family farm in Deep Run, N.C. The meat from IPPs is a high quality pork and is considered to be a better quality pork. The meat is higher in omega-3 fatty acids, vitamin E.
Our Farm has Cornish Cross and Rhode Island Red Chickens. The chickens are available for livestock, meat, and eggs. We can also provide fertile eggs for sale for people who wish to incubate and raise their own chickens.
The Farm raises Flemish New Zealand Cross Rabbits. This breed is a large rabbit breed which are great as Pets or meat rabbits.
